________

Ingredients:
1 –  tsp of salt
1/2 –  tsp of pepper
5 – tsp brown sugar
2 – tsp cinnamon sugar
1 – 12oz can of evap. milk (can be 2% or Vitamin D added)
2 lbs tenderloin (chicken, pork or your choice)
1 – Pure Spoon puree Creamy Avocado and Pears
1 – Pure Spoon puree Simply Apples
1 – Pure Spoon puree Sweet Potato and Apples

________

Mix all of the ingredients with a whisk.
Cut all fat off of the tenderloin.

Pour the mixture into a baking dish. Carefully place in the tenderloin. Make sure that they are covered. They do not have to be covered very deeply. The size of the baking pan depends on how many you’re cooking for.

My family and I have to use more tenderloin because we’re a family of 7 (five children and 2 adults).

Place your baking pan into the oven for 55 minutes on 400 degrees.

About Pure Spoon Purees:

Pure Spoon Purees is the first-to-market maker of 100% organic vegetable and fruit purees.  They are made with HPP (High-pressure pasteurization).  That means that they have a higher nutritional value and more flavor.  The HPP is a cool pasteurization.  That is what keeps the nutrition value of the purees.  Heat would deplete the nutritional value, so they use cold.

The purees come in eleven flavors:

  • Spinach, Pear and Bananas
  • Carrots and Zucchini
  • Blueberry, Banana and Apples
  • Simply Carrots
  • Apples and Broccoli
  • Butternut Squash, Apples and Oats
  • Creamy Avocado and Apples
  • Creamy Avocado and Pears
  • Simply Pears
  • Simply Apples

Pure Spoon Purees will deliver right to your door as long as you’re in the continental US (48 states).  They are delivered in a cooler like container that is well sealed to keep them cold.

Currently they are sold on Amazon, Jet.com and Sprouts Farmers Market – nation wide.  They also have ShopRite and are in select Target stores.  They are expecting to have them in Kroger, Wal-Mart and Hy-Vee stores coming this year in 2017.

Pure Spoon Purees were founded in 2013 and hit the shelves in 2015.

They were founded by Alyson Eberle and their headquarters are in Austin, TX.  Keep your eyes open for them on their social media sites too.

Alyson developed the Pure Spoon Purees for her daughter at the age of six months old.  She done this because she was not comfortable with feeding her little girl the baby food that she found at the grocery store.  She then became the “Mom on a mission” to help other parents do the same for their children.

Comment:

Somehow I don’t think that she knew that those same foods would be turned into ingredients for a recipe that adults can eat too.
