The correct amount of time to brush your teeth for is between 2 and 3 minutes. If you can do that, you’ll make sure that you’re giving them a thorough clean that manages to get into all the hard to reach places in your mouth, and that’s vital.

Use Fluoridated Toothpaste

Using the right kind of toothpaste to brush your teeth with will help you to ensure you’re always giving them the right kind of clean. But why is fluoride so important? In short, it helps to strengthen your tooth enamel and keeps tooth decay at bay.

Only Use Your Teeth for Chewing Food

There are lots of things that you can use your teeth for, but they’re only made for one thing, and that’s chewing food. If you start trying to make them do more than that, you’ll impact your dental health. They’re not built for other tasks.

So, if you’re tempted to try to crack a nut or open a bottle with your teeth, you should think again. You’ll be likely to cause yourself injury or damage your teeth. Stick to chewing food because that’s what they’re best at.

Finally, you need to make sure that you don’t miss your regular dental checkups. There are good reasons why these dental checkups should be attended. It’s about making sure your teeth stay healthy at all times.
