Car Seat Poncho ~ The perfect fit for keeping your child warm during colder weather

Worrying is a parents downfall.  We worry about their health, safety and a whole lot more.  When they are small, we worry more than normal because they are more prone to getting hurt.  When they are in the car seat, we worry that they are buckled in right, safely secured that is.  You can’t buckle them in and keep them warm at the same time.  Coats just get into the way, causing it to not be easy to buckle them in and have it to the right tightness.

One company decided that they would come up with something to solve that issue.  They are still called a car seat phoncho.  No, it’s not something that goes over the car seat.  It actually goes over their heads, but can be buckled into the car seat under the cover and the back of it goes over the very back of the seat.  Birdy Boutique is amazing on these.  I’m very proud of the one that my son got!

The sides are open where the arms are.  That allows them to be able to have the cover to go over the back, their body be available to buckle in and then the other part will cover the rest of the child up.  It’s actually a really great thing to have for your toddler!

Note: That is not a weapon in the bottom right corner. It’s the part to the vacuum where he disconnected it. He keeps playing with the vac. Go figure. He’s a little boy and into everything!

You’re really not suppose to buckle your child in over their coat.  This comes from the Consumer Reports!

Would I recommend this?  Yes.  Yes, I would.  Not only is it great for the purpose that they created it for, it’s also wonderful as a blanket.  He curls up with it and goes to sleep.  It’s that soft!
