Be completely transparent with yourself. Have you been having at least one serving of veggies and fruit every day?

Chances are, the answer is a no. That is understandable. Work gets in the way, you may have children to care for, or veggies and fruit may seem unappealing compared to other foods.

One can spend their life recycling, donating to charity, participating in volunteer activities, and even hitting the sign-up button for a community solar initiative. Yet, improving your health may be coming to the bottom of your daily to-do list.

The National Health Service (NHS) recommends that “everyone should have at least 5 of a variety of fruit and vegetables every day.” Still, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that only 1 in 10 adults get enough fruits or vegetables.

Change does not happen overnight. We know Rome wasn’t built in a day. Baby steps are a path towards progress. So read on ahead how these smoothie recipes will add more veggies and fruits to your diet.

Get a hold of a blender and a few ingredients listed below. You will embark on a journey to improve your health.
