CBD is finally going mainstream and more people now recognize it as a real cure for many health issues. CBD can now be found virtually anywhere, even on places like Amazon. However, CBD products can vary greatly in quality, concentration, and effects, and buying CBD products uninformed could end up costing you a lot of money. Here are some of the things you should be looking for when buying CBD products online
Source and THC Concentration
This is especially important for people who intend to sell their own CBD derived products. It is still federally illegal to sell or buy CBD products that are not derived from industrial hemp or contain more than 0.3% THC. So if you’re going to buy CBD isolate wholesale, for instance, you have to know from which type of plant it was extracted from and if the THC levels are compliant. Reputable companies will be more than happy to tell you where their CBD isolate wholesale came from, the extraction method, and the THC concentration as well. It’s always better to go with US-based suppliers who grow their own crops too if you want to know exactly what you’re getting and where it came from.
How was the Hemp Grown
Another benefit of buying CBD products from a supplier who grows their own crops is that you can get more information on the growing process. You could ask if they used ph-balanced soil for their crops, where their seeds were sourced from, and what kind of pesticides were used, among other things.
Check for a Lab Report
Before you buy any CBD product, you have to make sure that the product was tested and that you can see the actual report. If you can’t find or get one then this is a clear sign that the supplier cannot be trusted. Without a lab report, you won’t be able to see the CBD concentration or check if there are any harmful contaminants in the product.
Check the List of Ingredients
Certain CBD products will be full of additives, some more harmful than others. So, the next thing you should do is check the ingredients list and see what’s actually in there. If you see all types of additives that you can’t even pronounce, run a quick Google search on them and see if there are any harmful side effects associated with them.
In some cases, however, additives could actually be a good thing. For instance, some formulas that are made to promote better sleep might have some melatonin in them. Others might have B12 in them, which can help with pain relief. So, check what kind of additives there are and try to stick with those with beneficial or organic ingredients.
Buying CBD online can be a challenge with all the different suppliers trying to get a piece of the pie these days. Make sure that you follow our instructions and only buy products from reputable and transparent suppliers if you want to be sure about quality.
