We all clean our sheets, pillowcases, and comforter….but what about your PILLOWS! These
have to be the most neglected object in your bedroom. Nobody thinks to wash your pillows
since you have a cover over them, but they should be washed at least two times a year! If your
pillows aren’t as white as they once were it’s time!
I found a natural DIY solution to whiten your pillows! It’s quick and easy and MUCH
more cost effective than buying a whole new set of pillows!

What you’ll need:
– 1 Cup Hydrogen Peroxide
– ½ Cup Vinegar
– Laundry Detergent
– Laundry Booster

wash your pillows

Directions
1) Toss your dingy pillow in the washing machine! Always wash two at a time to balance
out the machine to make sure your pillows wash evenly. Set the machine to soak. Then
add hydrogen peroxide and vinegar to the drum of the washing machine. Hydrogen
peroxide is a natural whitener, and vinegar tackles deep-set stains.
2) Once the soak cycle is done running wash the pillows again with your regular liquid
detergent and laundry booster! The booster helps aid the detergent to work its full
potential! Feel free to use your favorite brand or MAKE YOUR OWN!
3) Remove the pillows from the washing machine, and toss them in the dryer! When
finished they will be glowing white, and ready for a good night sleep!

It’s as simple as that! My pillows not only looked great again, but smelled amazing! I will never
neglect my pillows again! It was like having a brand new set of pillows! If you’re like me and
want the whole home to glow schedule a cleaning at Eco Clean Madison….you won’t be sorry!
